The Process

1. Pre-session chat — We learn about your pet’s temperament, favourite toys, treat preferences, and energy level. A high-energy golden retriever requires a different approach than a dignified Persian cat or a shy rescue rabbit. Knowing your pet’s personality helps us plan a session that works with their nature.
2. Location selection — Outdoor sessions at pet-friendly parks like Desa ParkCity’s Central Park, KL Forest Eco Park, or your own garden work beautifully for dogs who love open spaces. For cats and smaller pets, in-home sessions are usually more comfortable and produce more natural behaviour.
3. Warm-up time — We spend the first 10–15 minutes letting your pet get used to our presence. No camera, no pressure — just casual interaction so they associate us with positive attention and treats. By the time we start shooting, they are relaxed and curious rather than nervous.
4. The session — Using the Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 GM II, we photograph from a comfortable distance that does not startle your pet. This lens captures sharp portraits from across the park, freezing mid-air catches and full-speed zoomies with ease. For intimate close-up portraits — those soulful eyes, the wet nose, the curled paws — we switch to the Viltrox 85mm f/1.4 for creamy bokeh that makes your pet the undeniable star of every frame.
5. Pet-with-owner portraits — Some of the most treasured pet photos include the humans. We capture the bond — your dog leaning against your leg, your cat in your arms, the walk you take together every evening.
6. Editing and delivery — Images are retouched to bring out the texture of fur, the brightness of eyes, and the warmth of the moment. Delivered within 5–7 business days in print and digital formats.
